This camp is suitable for teens who are new to climbing as well as those who are totally addicted to it. We’ll lay a solid foundation of climbing skills with an emphasis on decision making skills and exercising sound judgment. Participants will learn to advance their climbing technique, expand their knowledge of gear and equipment, and the importance of ethics, teamwork, problem-solving, and trust.

Each day we focus on a different skill lesson and the rest of the day is spent putting those skills to practice. Campers learn how to belay, knot craft, refinement of climbing movement, and other tactics to help them be self-sufficient at an indoor facility or at the crag. Each day will also feature an extracurricular activity to keep them moving and having fun.
